Apple’s smartwatch has been unveiled allowing anyone to try and pre-order it.

Apple Watch has been unveiled today in stores across the UK and the rest of the world. Anyone can finally get their hands on one, test the features, and see if they are willing to spend between £299 and £13,500. Those who are can pre-order it and the watch will be delivered until April 24 at the earliest but it could take up to the second week of May. 

 

Apple said that it allowed potential buyers to try the product and pre-order it to try and cut down on the frenzied queues, anger, and disappointment surrounding some of its launches. 

 

A leaked internal memo to staff said: "The days of waiting in line and crossing fingers for a product are over for our customers."

 

The Apple Watch is launching simultaneously in 9 different markets - Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US.
