Bruce Willis has allegedly been pestering stunning model Petra Nemcova for a date.

Pals of the beauty claim Willis even called the office of Petra's friend Diane Sawyer to try and get her number, according to America's New York Post newspaper.

Sawyer refused to give the model's contact details out and told the 'Die Hard' actor to contact her modelling agency, instead.

Next Models took Willis' number to pass on to Petra - but she never called him back.

Willis, undeterred, turned up at New York's Light of Heart benefit gala last week and surprised Petra, who was also in attendance.

The hunky star presented an award and later donated $50,000.

Willis and Petra - said to be dating Los Angeles movie producer Matt Palmieri - were later seen talking.

According to reports, Petra eventually succumbed to Willis' charms and handed over her elusive number.

Willis' spokesperson says he has been pursuing Petra for a role in his new movie 'Perfect Stranger'.
