Eir offers free Wi-Fi calling to 144,000 Eir and Meteor customers starting May 17.

Eir offers free Wi-Fi calling service that enables users to make and receive calls and texts over Wi-Fi even without a cellular signal. 144,00 Eir and Meteor customers can enjoy the free service starting May 17.

 

The service enables customers to tap into a mobile signal by using any Wi-Fi connection or public hotspot without extra cost. This could be a solution for mobile users roaming overseas as well as for those working in buildings where mobile network coverage is poor.
