When Microsoft announced in May that the Surface Hub 2 was being released, many were surprised at the move, since the Surface Hub was selling so well. Too well in fact, with Microsoft struggling to match the increasing demand for the Surface Hub due to manufacturing problems outside of their control, they looked to the Surface Hub 2 to improve on it.
Kinly take a look about what the Surface Hub 2 is bringing to the fold and how it’ll be wanted by even more people than the Surface Hub is.
Rotation
With the Surface Hub 2, it comes with the ability to rotate into place with a clever mechanism and a slight push. Giving you much more flexibility than ever before, crucial when daily and weekly meetings never end up going the same way. The rotation is very useful for scribbling down notes during the meeting or video chatting with somebody in an almost life size view. The flexibility doesn’t end there, if you utilise multiple at once you can connect them together to make a larger display allowing for even more customisation. Even featuring rolling cases and mounts to allow for even more adaptability in workplaces.
Sleek Design
The new and improved sleek design allows for even more adaptability, being more lightweight and flexible. Giving you and your employees to move it throughout the office without much effort. Excellent for when you have a large office space that requires the use of one or two Surface Hubs but have some distance to travel, maybe to different offices or buildings. No more requiring a couple of people to carry it begrudgingly or throwing it on a cart.
The resolution has also been upped to what Microsoft is calling “4K+”, making the 50.5-inch display seem much more appealing. Along with 4k cameras and far-field microphones, you’ll be hard pressed to avoid being seen and heard during meetings when utilising the Surface Hub 2.
Along with running Microsoft 365, which includes Windows 10, Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility + Security. It’ll also include Microsoft Teams and Whiteboarding, enabling you to collaborate without having to use a replacement or a separate device to chat. Making it the perfect all-in-one system for unified communications.
The Surface Hub 2 is looking to be released in 2019 so ensure to get your order in now to avoid being disappointed when they all sell out quickly. The Surface Hub 2 will be much more popular, with its price slated to be lower than the original Surface Hub to accomodate more people and businesses.
