What is Samsung Bixby 2.0
Samsung announces Bixby 2.0 just six months after launching Bixby 1.0.

Samsung has announced a second-generation version of Bixby, its digital voice assistant, and its vision for the connected home. The announcement marks Samsung’s intent to position Bixby as even more of a competitor to Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa, both of which are racing to lock consumers into their own respective software and hardware ecosystems.
Samsung is making Bixby 2.0 more open source by giving developers the opportunity to create their own software. Although this broadens the software’s appeal, Samsung faces an uphill battle against Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple’s Siri.
Samsung plans to bring Bixby 2.0 to all its appliances starting with its TVs and smart fridges. Bixby can also make it possible for consumers to talk to their other appliances, including but not limited to washing machines, speakers, printers, laptops and smart hubs.
