Boxing legend Mike Tyson will star in a Scooby Doo-style cartoon, fighting crime with a talking pigeon, a teenager, and the ghost of the Marquess of Queensbury.
Judging from the trailer, the cartoon series, which is produced by Adult Swim channel, is not designed for kids.
Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson has himself been caught on the wrong side of the law. In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington and sentenced to six years in prison but was released after serving three years. In 1997, Tyson was disqualified for biting Evander Holyfield's ear.
Always one to push boundaries, the Adult Swim channel is home to range of other bizarre and hilarious late-night cartoons including Harvey Birdman, Sealab 2021, and Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
The trailer premiered at this week’s Comic-con event in San Diego and it was well received by the audience.
