The bezel setting is another very popular ring setting. A lot of its popularity comes down to the suitability for those who live an active lifestyle. The diamond is not held with prongs. Instead, it has a bezel which encircles the diamond or the stone. Because of this, the diamond is held way more securely overall. The main benefit here is that the bezel is held securely in place and this makes it one of the most durable rings out there. You can choose to have this as a full setting or you can have it as a partial setting. 

If you opt for a full bezel then this will surround the diamond but if you have a partial bezel then this will have the sides left open. You can feel confident knowing that the diamond is going to be protected and this is great, to say the least. Pave Setting

This setting comes from the French word, which is “to pave”. The diamonds in this ring are set closely together and this ensures minimal visibility of the prongs or the tiny metal beads that actually hold the stones in place. The main reason why this setting is so popular is because it is a great way for you to ensure that the ring has a continuous sparkle and you may even find that it gives it a more unique look too. The jeweller will first drill some holes into the ring and they will then put the diamonds into the holes. They will then use tiny beads or miniature prongs around the diamond to make sure that they are secured properly.
