Warrington’s Walton Hall Gardens CCTV Plan
Proposals to install a comprehensive CCTV camera system at Warrington’s Walton Hall Gardens have been approved by borough planners.
18:14 13 May 2018
A comprehensive CCTV camera system will be installed at Warrington’s Walton Hall Gardens. A total of nine cameras will cover the whole historic place and protect it against vandalism.
Members of the borough council that approved the scheme were told that the new cameras would be strategically placed on all entrance and exit points of each building. Currently, there are existing cameras already introduced in the area of Walton Hall and the café courtyard. The new cameras would be attached to the old laundry building, café building, the riding school courtyard and the golf club court.
The borough council acquired the Walton Hall and Gardens in 1938 following the death of its original owner.
