Bobby Brown has been issued with a warrant for failing to appear at a court hearing involving child maintenance payment disputes.
Judge Christina Harms ordered that Brown be arrested the next time he is within Massachusetts state limits.
Brown, whose marriage to Whitney Houston dissolved in 2007, has allegedly fallen $45,000 behind in payments for two teenage children he fathered with former girlfriend Kim Ward.
In 2007, he was jailed for failure to make these payments. Brown spent four days behind bars.
Register of Probate Patrick McDermott stated that Brown is obligated to pay $5,500 in child support each month for the children.
Brown had a multitude of hits in the 1980s and early 1990s, including 'My Prerogative', 'Don't Be Cruel' and 'Every Little Step', but claims he struggles to find work at the moment.
The Grammy Award winner's marriage to singer Whitney Houston from 1992-2007 resulted in one daughter before their divorce.
