Tech hiring is currently experiencing a period of flux following the pandemic and a looming recession. However, there are still quite a few tech sectors that are holding fast and hiring for roles, such as data science, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
This year, experts agree that careers in the field of artificial intelligence as well as machine and deep learning will continue to be safe bets. The global AI market remains to be one of the fastest-growing sectors due to the growing demand for AI-driven technologies in healthcare and education and banking, among others.

One of the is Peak AI, which is currently looking to fill a senior software engineer position. The company, which was founded in Manchester, recently secured a $75million Series C funding round in 2021.
Siemens DISW is also looking to fill a position for a machine learning engineer. Siemens is a world-leading provider of product lifecycle management and manufacturing operations management software. The role requires background and education in technology and data science as well as experience with creating data visualisations, and more.
