VOIP Headsets
Everything you need to know about VoIP headsets.

Using VoIP for your communication needs does not necessarily require you to use a headset as your devices, such as laptops and smartphones have in-built speaker and microphone. However, a VoIP headset can enhance sound quality and can therefore optimise your experience. Also, VoIP headsets allow you to communicate discretely.
There are basically two types of VoIP headsets that you can choose from depending on your specific needs and circumstances. These are monaural (one ear) and binaural (two ears) headsets. The former gives voice output to only one ear so the other ear can be used for noise coming from the environment. Meanwhile, binaural headsets give output to both the right and left ears and are ideal for those who don’t want to be disturbed by surrounding noise.
The majority of headsets can be connected to your device using wires and USB cables. Newer ones, on the other hand, offer wireless solution allowing you to the freedom to move around during communication. Wireless headsets are popular in offices and corporate environments where mobility is inevitable. However, they are more expensive when compared to cable ones and they need to be recharged from time to time.
