“Shining a Light for Healing for Bobbi Kristina Brown” was attended by hundreds of people who gathered with candles and torches to pray for Whitney Houston’s daughter who is said to be fighting for her life after being found face-down in a bath.
Bobbi Kristina’s mother was also found unresponsive in bath on 11 February, 2012, and later died.
The 21-year-old is the only child between Bobby Brown and Houston. She is currently at an Atlanta Hospital. No other details were released as to how she was found.
Among those who participated is Riverdale Mayor Evelyn Wynn-Dixon who sang gospel hymns on stage.
"They bleed and hurt like us," Wynn-Dixon told the crowd before singing the gospel song There's A Leak In This Old Building.
Poco Reese of Johns Creek, Georgia, said: "We watched her grow over the years. We love her. You know, with everything she's gone through, with everything she's endured, we love her even more."
