Glasgow-based Trace Studio has been chosen by commercial landlord Squarestone Growth to provide the technology needed for their virtual property viewing scheme. Trace provides businesses a software that offers a 360- CGI walkaround so they can visualise the interior of future developments.
Squarestone properties include Quantum House in Edinburgh, the 133 Finnieston Street office complex in Glasgow and the Dundas House Bank of Scotland base in Rosyth.
Trace Studio director David Houston said: "The property market -both commercial and residential - is going to have to change drastically in a post-coronavirus era.
"Time-consuming, multiple visits to view office space may not be possible any longer, and businesses will have to turn to technology. That's why we've developed tools that allow 360-degree virtual tours of premises.
"This partnership deal with Squarestone Growth means anyone seeking to let offices at their developments can utilise our technology to save them time, money and effort. We are confident this will help revitalise the commercial property market in the months ahead."
Squarestone Growth founding partner Paul Coulter said: "We teamed up with Trace Studio to create a vision for how commercial property could be marketed for the next generation.
"The photographic quality of Trace studio's CGIs was outstanding, and we are delighted to work with the team mixing real video footage with CGI fit-outs to show potential tenants various interior options."
