VAR Healthcare UK Launch

Norway’s VAR Healthcare is set to launch in the UK.

Norway's VAR Healthcare, a provider of online knowledge and decision support systems for frontline staff across Scandinavia, has partnered with the Innovation Pop Up at Leeds Teaching Hospital in support of safe patient care. 

 

The firm specialises in providing healthcare professionals with an easy-to-use digital tool to quickly access the details of hundreds of clinical procedures. The system is currently being used in nearly all hospitals and municipalities across Denmark and Norway. It is also being adopted in Switzerland, Austria and across Germany. 

 

Ann Kristin Rotegård, managing director, said: “We have ambitions to spread out further and share best practice to support all nurses so they can give the best possible patient care.

 

“We have a wonderful collaboration with the Innovation Pop Up in Leeds which is opening doors for us in the UK.

 

“In the future, we would like to open a UK office and create jobs for experienced local nurses to help us grow further.”
