They believe that wherever they go, it’s up to them to learn as much as possible. 3. University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill
   
   

This is the best choice for students who want to deliver primary care to patients. The tuition is $57,316. The school offers M.D./M.P.H. degrees in Epidemiology, Maternal and Child Health, Health Care and Prevention, and Health Policy and Administration. There’s also a joint M.D./PhD program.

4. University of Pennsylvania
   
   

If you want to become a pediatrician, you’ll find the best program at this university. University of Pennsylvania is ranked third in the research category. The tuition for full-time students is $57,884.

5. University of California, San Francisco
   
   

If you want to study radiology, but you’re looking for a more affordable alternative than Harvard and John Hopkins University, you can settle for the University of California. Its radiology program ranks third in this category, and you’ll pay $34,977 (in-state) or $47,222 (out-of-state) tuition.

Stanford ranks third in the Research category, sixth in Pediatrics, and seventh in Radiology. You can rest assured that you’re getting top-level education there. The faculty-student ratio is 2.1:1! The tuition is $58,197.

8. Columbia University
   
   

This university has one of the best programs in Obstetrics and Gynecology. If that’s your focus, you should definitely consider this school. The tuition is $61,146. 

9. University of Michigan – Ann Arbor
   
   

It’s ranked on the sixth position for its Primary Care and Internal Medicine programs. The in-state tuition is what makes it attractive. $37,540 is considered “affordable” for a high-quality med school.

10. Oregon Health and Science University
    
    

This school ranks first in the Family Medicine category. The program costs $42,636 for in-stat and $64,896 for out-of-state students.

11. University of Washington
    
    

It’s a great med school that ranks second in the Primary Care and Family Medicine categories. There are six colleges, each one with its own mentors. You can earn an M.D. or PhD here. The tuition is $36,549 for in-state, and $66,501 for out-of-state students.

12. University of Central Florida
    
    

The tuition is $52,365, but 100% of the students at this school receive financial aid in the form of grants and scholarships. If finances are your problem, this is the school to consider.

13. Ohio State University
    
    

This school is also very generous with its financial aid programs. 79% of students receive grants or scholarships, and 76% receive loans. The regular tuition is $30,690 or $39,884 for in-state or out-of-state, respectively.

14. Oklahoma State University
    
    

The medical school at Oklahoma State University costs $25,797 for in-state and $53,299 for out-of-state students. The best thing about it is that 25% of students get work-and-study opportunities.

15. Seton Hall University
    
    

Among private med schools, this is the one whose students receive the most financial aid. 100% of the students receive some kind of grant or scholarship. The tuition is $59,247.
