Over the years, there have been a lot of discussions about US immigration due to the different proposed immigration laws.

The US president has been after illegal immigrants in the country. He is ready to flush all the illegal immigrants out of the country and of course prevent other people from coming to the US illegally. Trump is trying to make America a crime-free nation with a special motto, “make America great again. Although this sound like a good idea but a lot of Americans are against his idea due to personal reasons. Below are some of the reasons why the president is fighting illegal immigrants;

It is unlawful - it should be known that immigration to any country is illegal and comes with severe punishment. Since the US president believes that immigration to the US is illegal, he does not want individuals who do not obey the law in his country. Therefore, if you are planning to immigrate into the United States, never do so illegally because doing so illegally may land you jail. The immigration system in the US does not make it easy for new immigrants to move into the US illegally.

Jobs - Trump believes illegal immigrants are taking jobs meant for legal immigrants and citizens of the US. This is true because there are lots of illegal immigrants in the US. How will these illegal immigrants survive if they do not earn money? They have been working and of course taking jobs meant for legal immigrants and citizens of the country. The president thinks this should stop. He has been fighting this by all cost; he thinks preventing new illegal immigrants will stop this. Recent statistical analysis shows that the president's idea is working.

If you are planning a trip to the United States, then you will either need ESTA or VISA? before you can be allowed to enter the United States. The ESTA is for citizens of visa waiver program countries while the visa is for other nationalities traveling to the US. If your ESTA has expired, you will need to apply for a new ESTA.

Crime - there is a popular belief that illegal immigrants are expected to involve in criminal activities. Well, this may be true because illegal immigrants are always looking for ways to survive in another man's land. They tend to involve in criminal activities that will earn them money. Some of the common criminal activities that illegal immigrants involved in are,

• Drugs - a lot of illegal immigrants deal with drugs just to put food on the table. This is a crime that the US law condemns. Some of the hard drugs they sell are cocaine, flakka, bath salts and many more.
  
  
• Robbery - a lot of illegal immigrants tend to rob innocent individuals in the US. This is because they can not work in the US legally; therefore; they look for every means to put food on the table.
  
  
• Murder - some of these illegal immigrants involve themselves in criminal activities that may include murder. They tend to escape in most cases because they do not have their data registered in the US.
  
  

Current immigration facts

Based on the recent analysis, the Trump administration is getting good results when it comes to regulating the rate at which illegal immigrants move to the country. Some of the current immigration facts are,

Lower number of Mexican immigrants - Mexico is one of the top countries with the number of illegal immigrants in the US, but with the Trump's administration, the presidency has been able to reduce the number of Mexican immigrants. Also, a lot of Mexican immigrants are now moving back to their country. This is a development, and I believe that the presidency is happy with the new development.

A decrease in the number of illegal immigrants -

The number of illegal immigrants has reduced drastically in Trump's administration. This is because a lot of illegal immigrants in the US are now returning to their home countries because of the fear of the unseen. Also, the security around the US border is tight; this does not allow new people to immigrate into the US illegally. Trump's administration is not against immigration but is against illegal immigration.

Immigrants and work - statistics have shown that the number of illegal immigrants working as construction workers is more than the number of citizens working as construction workers. This is one of the reasons why America is great. Construction is one of the few sectors that add to a country's economy thus if there are shortage of workers in this sector then there may be problem.

Immigration in the US is now a concern since the presidency is working on making America great again. Therefore, if you are planning to immigrant into the US legally, then America will be a home away from home.
