Actor Edward Furlong, best known for his role as John Connor in Terminator 2, was sentenced to six months in jail for violating the terms of his probations from a 2010 domestic violence case.
The 35-year-old actor violated restraining order that was previously handed down by the court.
Furlong has had several troubles in the past with restraining orders being imposed on him by both his ex-girlfriend and ex-wife. In fact, the actor still has a pending case after being charged with battery of his ex-girlfriend.
Furlong has made no public statement on his new six-month prison sentence.
The troubled actor won an award for best performance by a younger actor at 1992 Saturn Award for his work in Terminator 2. He was also awarded the 1992 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance.
Although he had a promising career after Terminator 2, his career declined reportedly due to substance abuse and alcoholism that led to multiple arrests and court cases.
