Two investigated over Kate Middleton photos
Two people may face charges over the topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge from last year

Two individuals have been put under formal investigation with regards to the topless photos of Kate Middleton. This relates to when the Duchess was on holiday in France last year.
A publisher – believed to be named Ernesto Mauri – and a photographer – believed to be called Valerie Suau – are under investigation for breach of privacy it has been reported. Media reports have stated that the pair are named by legal sources.
Mr. Mauri is understood to be linked with the French Closer magazine. Reportedly Ms. Suau has denied taking indecent images with regards to the topless photos.
Closer has said, as reported by the BBC, that the photos were taken from a public road and weren’t offensive.
The Duchess, who is 31 years old, and Prince William sought legal action in the autumn of 2012.
With regards to the topless photos, no newspapers in the UK used the images.
News that Kate Middleton was with child emerged over one a half years after the royal wedding between the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William.
