Travolta rejects Bond

John Travolta turned down the role of James Bond because he didn't want to be typecast.
The 'Pulp Fiction' star was reportedly first choice by 007 movie bosses to play the suave spy.
Fans had even sent him hundreds of thousands of copies of 'Casino Royale' to try to encourage Travolta to accept the part.
But Travolta told America's Moviehole.net: "Bond is one of the most dynamic roles in history, one of the most extreme and career defining commitments an actor can make. After careful consideration I feel it might not be best for me at this point."
Meanwhile, blond actor Daniel Craig had a mixed reception by 007 fans when he was announced as the new Bond.
Dubbed "Bland Bond" Daniel was given the thumbs down in a poll by internet site IMDB.com.
