Oscar Pistorius, who was cleared of murdering Reeva Steenkamp, but who was found guilty of culpable homicide, is back in court for sentencing.
According to both defence and prosecution team, the sentencing process is more likely to take a week.
Prosecutor Gerrie Nel said he would call two witnesses, while defence lawyer Barry Roux said he would call three witnesses, plus one from the correctional services department.
One of the witnesses to be called is psychologist Dr Lore Hartzenberg, who had previously told the court that Pistorius had been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder over the shooting incident. He was also found guilty of discharging a firearm in public, an offence relating to him firing a gun in a restaurant.
Dr Hartzenberg said "Mr Pistorius' remorse was unabated during the therapy sessions" and concern for her parents was an "unremitting theme".
"I can confirm his remorse and pain to be genuine," she added.
"What we are left with is a broken man who has lost everything, his relationship with Reeva Steenkamp, his moral and professional reputation. His career and therefore his earnings."
