Traditional Arts and Crafts Combat Child Tech
Traditional arts and crafts can help wean your children off technology.

The majority of children today have at least one gadget that they use to watch videos or play games online. Whilst apps and computers can be beneficial to children’s learning, too much tech-time can also have a negative effect, including short attention span, unhealthy sleeping patterns and quashed creativity.
There are many ways to wean your children off technology and these include exploring other forms of entertainment. These include enrolling them at arts and crafts sessions, taking them to the park or going to a family holiday. If you’re travelling, consider Olivia Callaghan’s PLOX travel play-boxes. These are especially designed to combine education with arts and crafts to stimulate and engage children’s minds without the aid of a smartphone or tablet.
You can choose from “Holiday Journal”, “Arty Crafty Rucksack” or “Plox Travel Kit”, each filled with games and activities that will keep your children pre-occupied while travelling.
