Twisted Tracy Barlow sets up Corrie ex-lover Steve McDonald - by getting him arrested for 'kidnapping' their daughter.

Kate Ford's character is livid when she finds out that Steve has been only pretending to love her in order to get custody of their little girl, Amy.

Taking Amy away from the Street works as temporary revenge, but Tracy wants something more long lasting and returns to Weatherfield to begin her plotting.

The perfect moment comes when Steve, played by Simon Gregson, takes Amy to Manchester airport to watch the aeroplanes, the Sun reports.

Devious Tracy calls the police and says he is planning to run off with Amy - prompting officers to turn up at the terminal building and slap cuffs on a shocked Steve.

"She wants revenge and knows what will really, really get to him," an insider told the newspaper.

The dramatic episode, which will be screened in five weeks' time, sparks a bitter custody battle between the pair that will give neither of them any peace.
