With Disney taking over Stars Wars it seems the force is still strong. So it’s good news if you haven’t had enough of mimicking Darth Vader’s “I am your father” quote, or if you still enjoy battling with your pretend light sabre! Take a look at our Top 10 this week as we’ve chosen our Top 10 Star Wars Characters…

 

10. Jabba the Hutt:

This fat slug-like character catches the imagination! Starring in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, this daring alien also held Princess Leia prisoner!

 

9. C-3PO:

This dithering gold-bronzed robot was friends with R2-D2 and worked closely with Luke Skywalker, so it’s only fair he’s in our Top 10 Star Wars Characters

 

8. Boba Fett:

This character is a villain in two films; Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

 

7. Chewbacca:

This furry hero looks like a great big brown yeti, but he’s in our Top 10 Star Wars Characters list because he’s harmless. Even if you can’t understand a word he says!

 

6. Snaggletooth:

A character seen in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Blue Snaggletooth figures were about in the late 1970s.

 

5. R2-D2:

For a robot, he was kind of cute! That’s why he’s in our list of Top 10 Star Wars Characters

 

4. Obi-Wan Kenobi:

Famed for his expertise with a light sabre, this Jedi master appears in all six Star Wars films.

 

3. Darth Maul:

What an evil looking bad guy! With a crazed red and black face, this character is unforgettable and has scared his way into our Top 10 Star Wars Character list!

 

2. Darth Vader:

Dhumm-dhumm-dhumm-dhummm-de-dhum! This old school baddie also goes by the name of Anakin Skywalker in the newer Star Wars films. Go on, you can say it… “I am your father.”

 

1. Yoda!

He might speak backwards and appear on TV adverts, but Yoda is our most favourite Star Wars character!
