If you’re expecting, or you know someone who is, take a look at this week’s Top 10 Baby names for girlsfor inspiration…
10. Kardashian – We’re guessing that this has been inspired by the American reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians? It’s number ten on our Top 10 Baby names for girls!
9. Merlot – As in the dark-coloured grapes used for wine? Nice name for a baby girl though!
8. Tulisa – There’s one lady we know that shares this name, and that’s X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos (apparently her full name is Tula Paulinea Contostavlos). Tulisa is ranked number eight in our Top 10 list for baby girl names.
7. Chantelle – This name for a new born girl seems to be a popular one. We wonder if the owner will grow up to become involved with a cage fighter… like Chantelle Houghton, the ex Big Brother contestant, who is linked to Alex Reid?
6. Pippa – A Middleton influence? Reportedly the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister didn’t have much success with her recent book, but her name has. Pippa is number six in our Top 10 Baby names for girls.
5. Towie – As in the TV show The Only Way is Essex? (which is popularly abbreviated to TOWIE) If we didn’t know any better we would say so, but it’s a lovely name for a baby girl, which is why it’s number five in this week’s Top 10 list.
4. Heptathlon - Really? It’s number four in our Top 10 Baby names for girls for a reason we suppose.
3. Jennis – Jennis has a lovely ring to it we think, like a combination of say Jessica, and perhaps Ennis, what a glorious mixture! It’s in the top three most popular baby names for girls list.
2. Ennis – We spoke too soon. Here’s the number two ranking. Perhaps Ennis has become a popular name for girls following Olympic hero Jessica Ennis’ success this summer at London 2012? Makes a nice name for a baby girl!
1. Jessica – This is it, this week’s number one! There are many famous people called Jessica, Jessica Ennis the British athlete, Jessica Simpson, the US singer, and Jessica Alba, the American model. It’s in the top spot for out Top 10 baby names for girls!
