Screen veteran Tony Curtis has been hospitalised with breathing difficulties.
The 85-year-old 'Some Like it Hot' star became ill while at an event to unveil his latest artworks in Nevada.
Curtis has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and struggled to breathe, He was later admitted to a local hospital for tests.
In 2006, the 'Sweet Smell of Success Star' came close to dying when he contracted pneumonia and fell into a coma for several days.
Following the scare, he now has to use a wheelchair and can only walk for short distances.
As one of Hollywood's golden era stars, Curtis found fame for his films and his prolific love life which saw him marry five times and enjoy an affair with tragic screen siren Marilyn Monroe.
Curtis has fathered six children, including 'Halloween' and 'True Lies' actresses Jamie Lee Curtis through his marriage to 'Psycho' actress Janet Leigh.
One of his sons, Nicholas, died of a heroin overdose in 1994 aged just 23.
