Three marines, including gunman, dead in shooting at Quantico base
The suspect killed two marines before turning the gun on himself after standoff.

Reports have confirmed the death of three marines, which include the alleged gunman, at a US marine base in Virginia. According to reports, the suspect shot his first two victims before killing himself.
According to base spokesman Lieutenant Agustin Solivan, the first victim, whose name is not yet released, was shot at Marine Base Quantico on Thursday, 21st March, at about 11pm local time. The first shooting led to a standoff between the police and the suspect.
On Friday 22nd March, the authorities decided to enter the barracks where they found the suspect dead due to self-inflicted gunshot wound along with the second victim.
The names of victims and suspects were not yet released although it was confirmed that they were marines. The suspect is believed to be a staff member at the officer candidate school at the base.
The spokesman said that the shooting was an isolated incident and authorities were confident that there were no other casualties.
