Mr. and Mrs. Philpott, as well as a friend, have been found guilty over the deaths of the children
17:33 02 April 2013
The parents of six children have been found guilty of manslaughter, as well as a third adult being convicted over the tragic deaths, after a house fire broke out in May last year.
The three individuals, who are named as Mick and Mairead Philpott and Paul Mosley, faced Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday, 2nd April, 2013. This follows the death of the Philpott children over a fire at the family’s home.
The fire at Victory Road killed five of the children, with the sixth child being pronounced dead later in hospital.
All three adults were arrested by police in 2012 and appeared in court in February 2013 for trial.
