The world's top 10 most scandalous hotels for celebrity controversies
Following the incident involving Jay Z, Solange and Beyonce in a hotel lift, Travelzoo revealed the top 10 hotels for celebrity infamy.

Travelzoo has compiled a list of the 10 most infamous hotels where celebrities woke up to find unwelcome headlines.
Topping the list is Jay-Z and Solange's lift flight in New York's Standard Hotel followed by Prince Harry’s Las Vegas antics at the Wynn Hotel in second place.
Third place went to Holiday Inn Flint in Michigan where The Who drummer Keith Moon, blew-up a toilet, reversed a car into a swimming pool and smashed his front tooth in 1967.
Fourth place went to Michael Jackson for dangling baby Blanket out of the window at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin. He apologised afterward saying: ‘I offer no excuses for what happened, I got caught up in the excitement of the moment. I would never intentionally endanger the lives of my children.’
Meanwhile, the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills made it to number five as reports say that it is where the US president John F Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe would enjoy romantic liaisons. This is also where Angelina Jolie jumped in the pool in her ball gown after winning an award for her performance in Gia.
Hotel Sofitel Cardales in Buenos Aires ranked sixth after half-naked Harry Styles and Niall Horan were filmed on CCTV jumping down a corridor in May.
Britney Spears helped in making Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino to be included in the list. According to some reports, her children trashed their room and Britney had to shell out $20,000 for the damages.
Luxury hotel MGM Grand in Las Vegas is where Tiger Woods first met Jaimee Grubbs, the cocktail waitress who spilled the beans on their affair. The MGM Grand is the number eight on the list.
Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan made Chateau Marmont ranked ninth after she was kicked out for not paying her $46,000 bill in 2012.
Completing the list is The Mercer in New York where Russell Crowe threw a telephone at a hotel employee because he wasn’t able to get through to speak to his wife.

1. The Standard Hotel, New York: Solange Knowles repeatedly hit rapper Jay Z in a lift whilst Beyonce looks on.
2. The Wynn Hotel, Las Vegas: Prince Harry engaged in a game of strip billiards in leaked images that were seen around the world.
3. Holiday Inn Flint in Michigan: The Who's wildman drummer Keith Moon blew up a toilet and drove a car into the pool on his 21st birthday in 1967.
4. Adlon Hotel, Berlin: Pop icon Michael Jackson dangled his infant son Blanket from a window in November 2002.
5. The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills: Numerous sources state that US President JFK began his affair with screen siren Marilyn Monroe.
6. Hotel Sofitel Cardales, Buenos Aires: Youthful pop stars Harry Styles and Niall Horan were filmed on CCTV jumping down a corridor scantily clad.
7. Monhegan Sun Resort & Casino, Connecticut: Britney Spears and her children made $20,000 worth of damage in 2009.
8. MGM Grand, Las Vegas: After some hard partying, golf pro Tiger Woods first met Jaimee Grubbs here in 2007.
9. Chateau Marmont, LA: Lindsay Lohan was infamously kicked out of suite 33. She ignored her her $46,000 bill back in August 2012.
10. The Mercer, New York: Gladiator star Russell Crowe hurled a telephone at a member of hotel staff in 2005 – an action he later called the stupidest thing he's ever done.
