The UK's top 10 favourite cakes and how one in six women 'would give up sex for a slice'
Cake company Mr Kipling put the nation's taste to the test to unveil the top 10 best cakes as voted for by Brits.

Following a poll of the nation, cake company Mr Kipling has revealed what the nation's favourite sponge desserts are.
The icing on the cake is not so much what the cakes were but that the revelation that one in six women who were polled would 'give up sex forever' in exchange for a slice of their beloved dessert.
Furthermore, cakes have been used as a sweet negotiation tool in the workplace and in relationships with one in eight admitting to bringing in cakes to work to butter up the boss. Men were more likely (11%) to try to win hearts with cake than women (7%).
The survey of 2,000 adults marked National Cake Week.
Claire Harrison-Church, category business unit director for Mr Kipling, said: 'Cake is one of the things the nation simply cannot live without, even if it just a little treat every now and then.'
