‘The Saturdays’ walked down the red carpet in the States for the first time on Thursday night when they attended the MTV Video Music Awards at the Staples Center.
The appearance is part of their recent stateside outings as they try to launch their career over the pond.
Frankie Sandford chose a chic textured shift dress, while Rochelle Humes and Vanessa White both went for mullet-style. Mollie King chose a long sheer two-layered dress with net details by the neckline.
All four came in dazzling white gowns with the exception of Una Healy, who went for a slight splash of lemon with her ruched mini dress.
After arriving at the venue, Mollie excitedly tweeted: “Just walked in - Oh my goodness CANNOT believe we're here!”
Rochelle, meanwhile, tweeted a photo of herself in the limousine they came in on the way to the Staples Center. The 23-year-old captioned the photo: “Red carpet here we goo #unitedsatsof America #satsvmas.”
The group was also scheduled to perform at Perez Hilton’s after party, which meant that Rochelle would miss her new husband, Marvin Humes of UK boy band ‘JLS’, in his London gig.
‘JLS’ were also scheduled to perform a one-off concert during the iTunes Festival in London.
Reports state that Rochelle did catch the event on a laptop. She was pictured playing with Una’s daughter Aoife while watching the show.
Una also tweeted her excitement about their first U.S. performance, saying: “So excited to attend the VMA's this evening!! and then on to do our first EVER U.S performance at @PerezHilton after party! #excited #VMA.”
