The People Printer!
The world of 3D portraiture is the latest advancement in the field of print enhancement.

Following the introduction of 3D-printed marvels comes 3D portraiture that allows people to have a full colour printout of themselves. Customers are instructed to stand on to a little rotating platform where a camera will scanned them from head to toe. The procedure takes a couple of minutes and the product, which is about two-inch tall, is delivered right to your doorstep a few weeks later. It’s definitely the fastest way for you to get your mini-me.
The company that made this technology possible is Twindom that was founded by Richard Berwick who admitted that his target market is incredibly small. He said: "To be honest, that market is extraordinarily small. Because it's just a tchotchke; it really doesn't mean much to people."
He added that his company targets families, parents, and pet owners who want a keepsake of someone dear to them.
"It's not usually the people in the frame that have the print. It's always their friends and family, eventually," he says.
The company has recently introduced a newer system that includes the use of a bigger booth, studded with cameras. This takes instant 3D snapshots.
"Now we have something that can capture a pet or a small child, moving around," Mr Berwick says.
