1. Nintendo New York (Museum)
Located on Fifth Avenue, the Nintendo New York Museum is well worth a visit. You can try out the latest Nintendo games on the latest consoles against other visitors and Nintendo fans. NYC’s Apple store is unlike any other Apple store you have seen before. It has recently undergone a redesign and is now double the size it was previously. The outside of the store is a glass casing that looks simply stunning on a clear day.
Inside the store, you can try out all the latest Apple products and receive demonstrations from the Apple experts inside. If you haven’t visited an Apple store before, this should be your first.
3. Konnectgolf
Fitted with the latest in indoor golfing technology, Konnectgolf is the perfect place to visit for any joint golf and technology fan. In their studios, you can play a game of golf without the need for acres and acres of space. The tech is perfect for putting your skills to the test in this realm of technology.
4. NYC Spyscape
If you have ever dreamed of being a spy and cracking the hardest of cases, then a trip to Spyscape should be on the agenda for you. With lots of interactive challenges using large touch-screen tables, widescreens and audio, you will feel truly immersed in the spy world that Spyscape creates. The concept of Spyscape is similar to the popular escape rooms, except Skyscape uses much more technology to get your hands on.
5. Museum of the Moving Image
Everyone loves movies. A trip to this museum will give you an insight into the creation of films ever since they first began and show you how to create your own. The third floor of the museum offers an interactive experience where you and your friends can shoot your own mini-movies. If you have always wanted to delve deeper into how technology is used to create amazing motion pictures, then the Museum of the Moving Image will show you just that and more.
6. Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
At first glance, this museum may not seem very tech-heavy, but their latest exhibition will excite anyone who is even slightly interested in technology. The latest addition to the museum is the exhibition of drones; you can learn all about the history of drones, from their conception all the way to now. Drones are becoming an increasingly popular piece of technology, and they have a rich history just waiting to be discovered.
7. The Hayden Planetarium
This planetarium is perfect for a technology lover who also loves space. Located within the American Museum of Natural History, this gives you the opportunity to learn all about space and the technology used within space. See an enlightening show after walking around and taking in all the exciting displays the planetarium has to offer. The Hayden Planetarium is full of knowledge you won’t be able to find anywhere else.
