Terminator 2 star Edward Furlong was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after a public spat with his girlfriend at Los Angeles Airport. The incident happened on Tuesday morning.
Furlong, who is popularly known for his role as John Conner in the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day, was allegedly seen grabbing his girlfriend’s arm during a heated argument that reportedly left bruises on the woman’s arm.
Officers responded and took the star in to custody. The bail was set at $50,000 according to TMZ.net.
This isn’t the first time the actor has made headlines. His colourful life includes getting sued by an ex-girlfriend for assault and getting served a restraining order from ex-wife Rachael Bella.
Aside from complicated relationships, the star also battled drugs and alcohol problems, according to a report by the Mail Online. In addition, he was arrested several times for different crimes.
According to TMZ.net, Furlong was released from an L.A. jail on Wednesday evening at around 6:30pm. He was said to have been wearing a Halloween skull t-shirt.
It is understood that officials are to decide if they’ll press criminal charges against the troubled actor.
