Technology Leading Post-Pandemic Business
It has certainly been a very turbulent eighteen months for each of us individual and for businesses too.

Those who have found the most success have largely been able to find continued growth in their virtual base and is where the most success is likely to be found going forward. Niche markets and growing favourites like these online slots continue to push tech forward for personal use, but which technology is leading the post-pandemic business market and may look to stick around more permanently?
Video conferencing is unlikely to be replaced – Whilst video conferencing has bene around for quite some time now, it definitely didn’t find the same usage as it did throughout this past year with platforms like Zoom and Teams growing increasingly popular and finding much wider reaching use. Many will certainly go back to coffee shop meetings and business lunches, but with the shift over to remote working for a large number of people and the comfort that has been found in video conferencing during this period of time, if any this is the one thing likely to stick around in a more permanent capacity. Flexible working has become key, and not having to dedicate time to physically attending a meeting with a long commute certainly fits under that, video conferencing tools will continue to evolve to deliver a better service and is certainly something that has been instrumental in the success for many during this period of time.
Remote communication for office workers – Video conferencing has only been one part of the change, but platforms that allow workers to communicate has been the other half – programs like Teams or Slack have been widely used before, but the chat functions may have provided more of a social chat relief than an all encompassing office communication platform, and very similar to video conferencing those now looking for opportunities to be more flexible with their work life through remote working may now start to become more reliant on these platforms for not only keeping up to date with what’s going on within the office and their work, but also as a tool to continue holding a relationship with office friends and bosses too. Offices that didn’t use these platforms prior may also be much more willing to incorporate them into the day to day too, which certainly helps free up additional capacity.
These are just two of the biggest changes and there are certainly many more, technology has been the most instrumental thing in allowing this more flexible change but had also been something a little less explored, now the opportunity is there, big changes will start coming to the business environment as the technology to allow the change comes in much faster too.
