Advanced technology and quality sleep don't have to be mutually exclusive ideas. The items on our list are proof that tech and quality sleep to coexist

Sleep is important – this we know. But so is technology. And since we’re at this present moment more dependent on technology and the Internet of Things than ever before, the volatile relationship between tech and quality of sleep is once again a hot and at times even contentious topic. That this would be so is perfectly understandable too, as many of us who previously relied on screens for entertainment and communication and perhaps the odd GPS-interaction here and there, now embrace a new normal that has us working from home and necessarily having to make use of more screen-time than ever before.
But remote work does have its benefits, even in the sleep department. Since a lack of flexibility is no longer the major dictator of how we spend our time that it once was, many of us now find ourselves on a roster much more favourable toward having a schedule open to making some adjustments. Including sleep-cycle adjustments.
And technology isn’t quite the sleep-fiend we once assumed it to be, either. Enter sleep tech. Granted - a term that includes a dizzying array of options. Which is why we’re here to help you separate the gizmos from those that genuinely work.
Fitbit Inspire HR Tracker
What makes the Fitbit Inspire HRT Tracker stand out from the tracker-crowd is that it discerns between the amount of time spent in bed vs. the amount of time spent sleeping. Which, as far as distinctions go, is an important one to make, given our specific scenario. Every insomniac knows the frustrating reality of time spent under the covers not necessarily being equal to time spent asleep. Which is why the only data you'll ever really need is an accurate indication of how long you spent tossing and turning vs. how long you slept.
Blueair 480i Air Purifier
Blueair's Classic 480i Air Purifier is our air purifier of choice because, apart from it being a product made by one of the world's best manufacturers, it’s also the perfect size and capacity for the typical bedroom. It purifies air up to a total of 434 square feet and when set to its lowest setting, is no more than a quiet whisper in the night. Higher settings aren't a problem either as it then switches to producing white noise, which is known to stimulate deeper sleep, even after the excitement offered by apostas esportivas no Brasil.
Gravity King/Queen Blanket
Weighted blankets are as brilliant as what they are stupidly simple a sleep solution. And the ones manufactured by Gravity are as effective as weighted blankets come. Gravity's King & Queen blankets are stuffed with 35 pounds of beads all tucked into a soft and inviting micro-plush envelope. Slipping one of these babies on the bed will trick any old sack of tired bones into thinking it's just been tucked in for a quiet and peaceful night's rest.
chiliPAD Sleep System
The chiliPAD sleep system is all about replacing the need for a smart mattress. Smart mattresses can cost thousands of dollars. And if you're already the owner of a perfectly fine high-quality mattress, spending even more money on improving an already expensive product may seem like overkill. Which is why simply adding a chiliPAD into the mix makes a whole lot more sense. Best of all is that it even lets you adjust the temperature to suit your own unique preference.
