Former catwalk queen Karen Mulder has been arrested for 'threatening to attack' her plastic surgeon.
The troubled supermodel was taken into custody and quizzed by police in Paris after a complaint was filed by an unnamed female cosmetic surgeon.
It is understood that Mulder was angry at the surgeon for refusing to perform correction surgery for an operation she had undergone earlier.
A police source said: "She is being interviewed by detectives and is expected to be released on bail. Her phone records are being checked. It is not yet known if any charges will be brought."
Mulder became one of the world's most famous models in the 1980s and 1990s and was the face of designers Calvin Klein, Chanel and Versace.
Her troubled past began when she quit modelling to become a singer in 1998.
It was at this time she made claims that she and other models had been used as sex slaves by executives in the industry and that Prince Albert of Monaco had raped her.
Mulder later withdrew the allegations and was treated for depression in psychiatric hospital for five months. Then in 2002, she fell into a coma after overdosing on sleeping pills.
She was last seen on the catwalk in 2007 alongside Kate Moss for Christian Dior's Paris show.
