Sun eating is the newest, unusual method to weight loss being practiced by some women who goes to the beach twice a day to stare at the sun to curb their calories. According to reports, those who take part say that it replaces the need for a normal diet and allows health-obsessed individuals to go an entire day without eating.
One man, referred to as Wing, reports a group of 10 women, aged around 20 to 30 arrive in the morning or in the early evening. He said that they take their shoes off, put on sunglasses, and set a timer on their phone. They then “absorb the sun, believing solar energy can replace calories.”
One said: “We practice sun-gazing as a substitute for eating. Some of us who have finished the therapy now eat less, and others don’t have to eat at all!”
She explained that beginners start by staring at the sun for 10 seconds, adding 10 seconds every day until reaching 44 minutes by the ninth month.
