The Sugababes have had to cancel their first live concert appearance with the new line-up it has been announced.
Pulling out for "legal reasons", the girl pop band were to perform at the Scottish Royal Variety Performance.
Following a recent row which saw the only original band member Keisha Buchanan leave the group, this was to be the trio's first appearance with new replacement Jade Ewen.
However due a contractual issue, the girls had to cancel the event at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall.
In a statement, they said: "Following the recent and well documented change of line-up to Sugababes, there are a number of legal issues to be finalised by all parties in order that the band can move forward.
"Sadly, whilst these negotiations are approaching completion, it will not be possible for the band to finalise its business affairs prior to Thursday's event."
New member Ewen added: "This is such a disappointment to all of us."
The Sugababes plan to perform another concert in aid of The Royal Blind Society, the Scottish Royal Variety's chosen charity.
Sugababes manager confirmed: "This was indeed an unavoidable decision of a contractual nature but I am delighted to confirm that all other band engagements are due to resume next week when it will be business as usual for Sugababes!"
Jade Ewen joined the remaining Sugagbabes - Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah – in September following the abrupt departure of Buchanan.
