09:44 20 December 2011
Harry Judd and Aliona Vilani have won 2011Â’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The McFly drummer and his professional partner landed the coveted glitterball trophy after receiving the most public votes in the grand final.
The pair beat Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey and partner Pasha Kovalev into second place.
Judd's bandmates Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher and bassist and recent winner of IÂ’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, Dougie Poynter all stormed the stage following the announcement.
They were followed by JuddÂ’s father, before being ushered off the stage by host Bruce Forsyth.
Judd said of his big win:
"All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported Aliona and I. I have had the most incredible experience, thank you.
"I've been on the best show on TV and I'm just honoured. I was so nervous when I first started, I didn't think I'd be able to do it, but Aliona has got me through it."
Earlier in the night Jason Donovan and Kristina Rihanoff were eliminated from the competition, despite coming top of the judgesÂ’ leader board.
The show easily won the ratings once again, but didnÂ’t see a spike in viewers even though there was no X Factor show to compete with.
The 7pm episode attracted an average viewing figure of 12.18million, while the second and final episode of the series achieved an average of 11.94million viewers.
