A film about the Glastonbury Town Deal was live-streamed on the local council's official page and was made available afterward on YouTube.
The clip from Flying Tiger Productions highlights the details of the projects and the benefits it offers to residents and businesses. It also includes interviews with Glastonbury Town Deal board members and project leads.
Glastonbury is one of the 101 towns receiving investment through the government's Towns Fund scheme as part of its Levelling Up agenda.
Julie Reader-Sullivan, Mendip District Council head of service for planning and growth and leader of the support team for the Town Deal, said: “The film has been created as another way for us to share information about the Town Deal projects with the local community.
"A number of events have been held over the past few months...but we appreciate not everyone has been able to attend.
"Now they can get an overview of what the projects entail and how these are likely to benefit local residents and businesses, at a time and place that’s convenient to them."
Some of the projects covered by the Town Deal are the regeneration of the Bailey's Building, establishment of an Enterprise and Innovation Centre, refurbishment of Building C and The Life Factory and the establishment of the Robert Richards Initiative, among others.
