Emmerdale's car crash drama at Home Farm...

This is the moment when Mark Wylde desperately tries to free his son from being trapped under a huge wooden beam.

Mark, played by Maxwell Caulfield, rushes to help his secret son, Ryan Lamb, after Rodney Blackstock's van crashes into Emmerdale's Home Farm shop.

Ryan is crushed under the collapsed beam while Leyla Harding (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) and Doug Potts are both stuck under masses of rubble.

Mark, wiping blood from his son's face, assures him that he will be fine, but the shop begins to fall apart.

Ryan does not know that Mark is his father, after Mark's ex-wife Faye Lamb told him his dad had died.

Viewers can tune in to find out if Ryan gets out before the building comes crashing down on Thursday July 23 at 7pm and 8pm, ITV1.
