Another bit of technology for your home that is created by Nest. This is a video doorbell that alerts you when someone is hanging around your property, without them even pressing the button. This also connects to your smart phone, so when the doorbell is pressed, your phone will then ring. You can also set automated responses to alert them that you will be right with them or to give instructions on a delivery for example. There is a speaker and microphone connected upon installation, so you can speak to the person at your property from wherever you are. This is likely to be another innovation that is going to be a popular choice for many home owners moving forward.

The final nest device to make the list is the protect. This is a smoke and carbon monoxide detector alarm. This smart sensor can tell the difference between smoke and steam, and gives a warning prior to the following loud noise, which no one likes to hear!
