Singer Tulisa Contostavlos is arrested

Tulisa Contostavlos was arrested over claims relating to drugs

Tulisa Contostavlos, the UK singer-songwriter, has been arrested it has emerged. According to reports Tulisa, aged 24, was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

It is understood that Tulisa and another individual were in custody on Tuesday afternoon, 4th June, 2013, as of time of writing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers from Westminster have arrested two people - a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman - on suspicion of supplying class-A drugs.”

Adding: “They remain in custody at a central London police station.”

This comes after a certain newspaper made the suggestion over the weekend that allegedly Tulisa was involved in a drug deal.

Tulisa is known by many for her role in the hip hop group N-Dubz alongside Dappy and Fazer.
