Jessica Simpson ordered her bodyguards to close off a restaurant toilet because she wanted to do her business in private.

The 'Dukes of Hazzard' star left female diners at Mr Chow's restaurant in Beverly Hills fuming after she hijacked the ladies bathroom, according to America's New York Post newspaper.

Meanwhile, Jessica has been left "devastated" by her estranged husband's decision to tell all about their failed relationship.

Nick Lachey recently told a US magazine that he felt "blindsided" and "sucker punched" after she told him she was filing for divorce last December (05).

Friends of the singer-turned-actress told America's People magazine: "She was devastated, heartbroken. She didn't think he would do that to her."

Insiders claim what upset her most of all was the timing of his decision to kiss-and-tell.

They revealed: "Nick waited until two weeks before his new album, 'What's Left Of Me', was released to reveal things. That's not cool.

"He keeps saying, 'I'm sorry I couldn't make her happy,' but he is not choosing to say why."
