Sharon Stone has counter-sued her former Filipino nanny over unpaid loan. The Basic Instinct star claimed that Erlinda Elemen, the one who sued her last year over labor violations, owes her $9,500.
According to reports, the former nanny borrowed $12,500 from Stone in 2010 but only repaid $3,000. She allegedly stopped making payments in January 2011. Stone is seeking the remaining $9,500 in debt plus interest.
Meanwhile, Elemen sued Stone in May 2012 claiming that the actress made disparaging racial remarks on her Filipino ancestry. She also claimed that she was wrongfully terminated in February 2011.
In her lawsuit, she said Stone supposedly told her not to talk to her children because the actress didn’t want them to talk like her.
Stone was also sued last month by a former housekeeper for wrongful termination and wrongful retaliation. Angelica Castillo said in her lawsuit that she was hurt on the job and was advised by doctors to ease her workload however, Stone did not allow her.
Marty Singer, Sharon’s lawyer said that the lawsuit was “bizarre and ridiculous”.
