Seventh Apprentice fired
Lord Sugar gives another candidate the boot...
10:42 18 November 2010
Sandeesh Samra has become the seventh candidate to be fired from the Apprentice after being in the losing team five times.
Samra was project manager of her Team Synergy as they tried to sell DVD green screen experiences in Westfield Shopping Centre in London.
Both teams aimed their videos at children, with Synergy deciding to go for a virtual skiing experience, whilst Team Apollo, managed by Stuart Baggs, went for a motor car racing film.
It was revealed in the boardroom that Synergy only made £222.97 profit, whilst Apollo generated a winning figure of £262.50.
Despite project managing the winning team, Baggs faced a lot of criticism from both his fellow team members and Lord Sugar.
He mocked team mate Stella English for being "too corporate" for writing things down, saying that he kept everything he needed to know in his head.
Lord Sugar then blasted the 21-year-old, saying: "If you were working for me and you've got all this stuff in your head and I'm relying and trusting upon you and unfortunately you get run over by a number six bus, where does that leave me?"
However, it was Sandeesh called back into the boardroom, choosing to bring colleagues Chris Bates and Liz Locke in with her.
Bates' and Locke's strong performances in previous tasks saved them from the firing line and Sandeesh was sent packing.
Lord Sugar summed the task up, saying:
"Sandeesh, you were appointed by me as team leader. We've talked many times about planning, clearly on this particular task there was no planning.
"Sandeesh, you're up against two very strong contenders here so I'm going to have to let you go. Sandeesh, you're fired!"
The Apprentice continues Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One
