Serene Beauty Of Thailand: Are You Ready For Adventure?
Ways to explore Thailand without experiencing any unforeseen hurdles
11:00 15 March 2013
I don’t know about you, but I get excited when I can start smelling spring in the air! The seasons are slowly changing and the holiday season is just around the corner. 2013 is going to be a banner year for travel and great travel deals are available almost everywhere you turn. Be sure to start planning early and don’t forget to buy travel insurance no matter where you go.
If you’re feeling really adventurous, this is the perfect year to take a trip to one of my favourite exotic locations, Thailand. Described as the “Land of Smiles”, Thailand is a friendly place full of natural beauty.
The beaches of Krabi are awe-inspiring, with visual scenes that can only be described as picturesque. If you’re on a budget, you might think such an exotic holiday might be out of reach. But believe me, if you do your homework you can get there on a budget.
Follow the tips below to save yourself some time and money, and have a great time in Thailand:
- To save money, travel outside the main tourist season which normally runs from October to April. Discounts are always available during the off season.
- Travel insurance is a must. Don’t expect any problems during your travels, but be prepared. Things can go wrong when you least expect it and travel insurance will take care of most of those things should they come to pass!
- Use an online service like Orbitz to book your flight. They can find the best travel deal and compare costs between airlines so you can see your savings. As always, book as far ahead as possible.
- If you’re willing to do without air-conditioning, you can save lots on your hotel stay! It’s not as bad as it sounds. There are plenty of locations that catch the cool ocean breeze to keep you cool at a discount. It’s worth considering.
Just remember: Plan ahead, purchase travel insurance and have fun! Thailand is a wonderful place to spend an enjoyable holiday.
