Lupita Nyong’o has been chosen as People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Star for 2014.

After winning this year’s Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 12 Years A Slave, Lupita Nyong’o has been named as the most beautiful star in the world by People Magazine. 

 

Talking about her latest achievement, she said: "[My mother] always said I was beautiful. And I finally believed her at some point."

 

Heading up the girls on the list, she added: "I would never look in the mirror, never, ever. One day my mother actually dragged me and made me look at myself and said, 'Look, you are ashy! You need some lotion!''

 

The Yale graduated shared: "I had very patchy, rashy skin, mainly on my face. My mother found some remedy in Madagascar, like herbs in a vial. Oh, it smelled terrible - but it worked."

 

The second on the list is Felicity star Keri Russel while third place was given to new mother Jenna Dewan-Tatum who looks striking with her chiseled cheekbones and perfect jawline.
