Schoolgirl, 15, admits beheading classmate in Japan
The suspect said she strangled her victim before cutting off her head and left hand.

A 15-year-old Japanese schoolgirl has been arrested by police following her admission to killing and beheading her classmate.
The teenager, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, said she hit her classmate over the head with a metal object before strangling her.
The body of the victim, 15-year-old Aiwa Matsuo, was found in Saseo City, in Japan’s southwestern Nagasaki Prefecture, on a bed in the suspect’s apartment.
The suspect, who also admitted to cutting off the victim’s head and left hand, said she acted alone.
According to police reports, the victim had gone to meet friends on Saturday afternoon. Her parents reported her missing after she failed to return home that evening.
