Actress Scarlett Johansson has been selected as the face of a new Calvin Klein fragrance.

Actress Scarlett Johansson has been selected as the face of a new Calvin Klein fragrance.

The silver-screen pin-up took a leading role in Lost In Translation and will now appear in adverts and promotions for "Eternity Moment".

The fragrance is being launched in September for women and Johansson will appear alongside actor Trent Ford in a heavy advertisement campaign.

A spokesman for Calvin Klein said she had been chosen because "she is seen to embody what today's young women are all about - independent, spirited and confident".

The advert will depict a love affair shown in flash-backs and will hit the UK screens later this year.

"It's been an incredible year for me and certainly this campaign is an incredible dream come true," revealed the actress.

"I was honoured and surprised. It's exhilarating.

"The Calvin Klein fragrances have such an amazing history and so many incredibly beautiful women have graced the pages of the advertisements and commercials for all his fragrance lines."
